About us
We are Matt and Kerry Harr. We are from Aberdeen, SD and we have always loved coming out to the Black Hills to enjoy all it has to offer. Fun events in Deadwood or hitting the off road trails in our Toyota 4x4's. Every time we came we could never find accommodations that had fit our large family and had everything we wanted. So we bought our own and stocked it with everything we always wish other rental homes had done. Luxury bedding and towels. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen for cooking and baking. Chairs for the driveway, games and toys for the kids, highend outdoor grill and griddle. Outdoor fireplaces and nice outdoor seating. A hose and essentials for washing the days dirt off your 4x4. A huge driveway for parking trailers and plenty of guests. And close proximity to adventures in The Hills. We thank you for considering staying in our home and we believe you'll find it with everything you thought you would need, plus some things you didn't. Also if there is anything we don't have just let us know and we will add it for your next stay. Nothing brings us more joy than hearing all the stories and memories other families and friends create while staying at our home away from home.

"Great place to stay with a larger group! Very clean and spacious with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our large family. The kids had a blast sleeping in the room with all the bunk beds. Nice open floor plan with kitchen and family room made it enjoyable hanging out with the whole family! Would highly recommend!!"

"Make Time Lodge was everything we could have asked for our Annual family getaway of 17 kids and grandkids. Beautifully appointed home with amenities galore for young and old alike. Only suggestion would be to have a step stool to reach top shelf of the ceiling high cupboards. Great communication/ very responsive. Loved our stay."
